We are pleased to offer a range of Pénichettes® designed specifically for Ireland. The whole range is comfortable and easy to handle, and is constantly being expanded, improved and updated to satisfy the demands of an international clientele. For over twenty years Pénichettes have been designed and built in France. Our Ireland base at Ballinamore is centrally located for the River Shannon or the Erne waterway system. New for 2007 we offer a one-way cruise between Ballinamore and Banagher on the Lower River Shannon.

About the name 'Pénichette'

Across Europe there are now over 400 Pénichettes. Whether for couples, families or groups of friends there is always a Pénichette to suit your requirements. Elegant, modern and spacious, with an aft deck that lengthens the kitchen and living space and provides shade for outdoor eating.

Classic Penichettes - available from Ballinamore base

These classic Pénichettes have become famous due to their resemblance to the 'Péniche' or working barge. Kitchen and sitting area at the rear of the boat is separated from the sleeping areas at the front.
